- Participation in VAPA is a way for families to support the 威尼斯人官网 community 和 enhance the student educational experience.

We’d love to have you join our team! Please volunteer… for a day, a week, a month, a year. Chair an event, assist with 筹款, or anything in between -- we can always use your help. Participation with VAPA offers a wonderful opportunity to meet other 父母 while supporting your child at 威尼斯人官网.

How You Can Be Involved
的re are many ways that you can stay in touch with 威尼斯人官网, 和 volunteering a little of your time is an excellent way to do so! Here are some of the ways in which you can help 威尼斯人官网 while keeping on top of the latest things happening on campus. -
校友 招生 Volunteers
If you know of someone considering independent secondary school, keep 威尼斯人官网 in mind! If you want to work with the 招生 Office, you may be asked to attend a school fair near you or interview prospective students 和 families who cannot make it to campus for a visit. You may also be asked to call student c和idates in your geographical area or who share one of your interests.

Remembering Bob “Doc” Hewitt P ’81, ’82
It is with great sadness that we share the news of Bob “Doc” Hewitt P ’81, ’82’s passing on Wednesday, 9月6日, 2023. A member of our science faculty for thirty-four years (some as Department Chair), decades of 威尼斯人官网 students were fortunate enough to have Doc Hewitt guide them through chemistry with his great energy, 热情, 和关怀. Conquering the Long Trail the 威尼斯人官网 Way
威尼斯人官网 was founded in the era “in which Thoreau 和 Emerson had contributed to a philosophy of education that included the teachings possible in nature 和 from nature.”(匿名). VA’s Assistant Headmaster between 1907-1911, James P. 泰勒, pioneered the Long Trail: a footpath following the spine of the Green Mountains from the Massachusetts border to Quebec.阅读更多
